Path of Exile 2 is currently in early access and has seen several updates. We have retested in v1.01E and are updating our best settings guide.

Considering the visual quality of the game we find it is performing rather well on Steam Deck currently but there is always room for improvements. We still have a similar issue with stuttering between 20-30 FPS during Act 2 when visiting the Ardura Caravan. This isn't a Steam Deck only issue for reference.

When roaming around the main game we can find the FPS dips into the 30s when there is a lot of visual effects and monsters on the screen but it does head back towards the 40-50 FPS range as these effects and monsters become less.

Best Settings:

• Upscale Mode: Intel XeSS - Balanced

• Texture Quality: Medium

• Texture Filtering: 4x Anisotropic Filtering

• Lighting: Shadows

• Shadow Quality: Low

• Sun Shadow Quality: Low (Default)

• Number of Lights: Low

• Bloom: 100%

• Water Level Detail: High (Default)

• Triple Buffering: On (Can't be turned off)

• Dynamic Culling: On

• Target Framerate: 60 FPS
