CYGNI: All Guns Blazing Steam Deck Gameplay & Best Settings

I recently had the opportunity to test out the new game CYGNI: All Guns Blazing on the Steam Deck, thanks to KeelWorks for providing early access and a key.

The game, which is set to launch tomorrow, exceeded my expectations in terms of graphics and quality of cutscenes. It is an action-packed experience with intense shooting and a rapid fighting style, but I was blown away by the stunning graphics. The game offers specific controls for the Steam Deck and allows for some graphic settings adjustments, although there isn't a huge amount of customization available.

I found that locking the game at 60 or even 30 frames per second worked best to maintain visual clarity, especially during chaotic scenes. I also adjusted the resolution scale to maintain smooth gameplay without sacrificing too much graphical fidelity. However, enabling MSAA caused a significant drop in performance, so I would advise against using it.

In terms of difficulty, All Guns Blazing proved to be more challenging than expected, even on the easy difficulty setting. I found it particularly difficult to progress past the first stage when playing solo. The game does offer a co-op mode, but it seems to be limited to local co-op, which may present a challenge for solo players. Despite the difficulties, I believe that having a friend join in would significantly enhance the experience.

Overall, All Guns Blazing on the Steam Deck is an exhilarating experience with stunning visuals and intense gameplay. I can't wait to dive back in and explore more of what this game has to offer.
