GE-Proton7-53 Released

GloriousEggroll released 2 GE-Proton updates overnight so we have combined them into a single update.


GE-Proton7-53 was a hotfix specifically for Star Citizen to bring a specific EAC patch to upstream. It allows Star Citizen to run without needing to change the /etc/hosts file and does not interfere with EAC for other games.


GE-Proton7-52 brought the following changes:

  • Implemented the Diablo IV fix from proton upstream

  • Halo Infinite fix/patches from proton upstream added/updated

  • protonfix for Outlaws + A Handful of Missions (thanks Stereophonick)

  • protonfix for Underdog Detective (thanks Neodamode)

  • dxvk and vk3d were updated to the latest git versions

  • wine was updated to the latest bleeding-edge version
