The world was taken by storm recently with MSI announcing what seemed to be the first Intel-based handheld, however, OneXPlayer has actually been teasing an Intel handheld for over a month and has ramped up advertising over the last week in what seems to be a build up for a January launch announcement.
The OneXPlayer X1 boasts the Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, 2.5k 120Hz 10.95 inch display, removable controllers (like the Legion Go) and a magnetic Keyboard to make it a 3-in-1 device (Handheld console, Tablet and Laptop) and rumors of up to 64GB RAM.
ONE-NETBOOK, the company's YouTube site has been sharing video's all week of the prototype connected to external GPU's but they did also show off the prototype being used a gaming laptop in the video below
So far, there have not been any videos showing the device in use with controllers attached and there are only a couple of images showing the concept, so it will be interesting to see what the weight of the OneXPlayer X1 is and how useful it will be as handheld, the 10.95-inch display alone will make this extremely difficult to hold comfortably.
The OneXPlayer X1 Indiegogo page is live here, and you can sign up for notifications, with the build-up we expect a go-live announcement in the next week or two, but given the history of the pricing of the OneXplayer products, we can expect this to be upwards of $1000, as the current OneXPlayer 2 Pro on sale currently at $949.99 down from $1,299.99.
