It's Friday Again And it looks like we have another update from Ben Meyers at Lenovo. This time it seems like we are getting a road map of what's to come for the Lenovo Legion Go for the rest of the year and early 2024.
12/1 Legion Space Release (v1.0.2.3):
Controller improvements in the next major update, including DeadZones and Xbox Button Map.
Fixed a bug related to power connection when switching from 144Hz to 60Hz.
Added support for 7 new languages.
Added performance profiles in the right flyout menu with different modes: Preset Performance, Power-Saving, and two custom modes.
New "Quick Settings" tab in the right menu for easy access to features like Win+D, Esc, Virtual Keyboard, and battery info.
Added a "spiral rainbow" option for RGB stick lights and other general optimizations.
Planned Updates for Mid-December:
Joystick deadzone adjustment.
Xbox Button mapped to Legion L+RS.
Trackpad vibration switch.
Fixes for lighting effects and controller input duplication in the right menu/games.
Planned Updates for Late December/Early January:
Incorporation of driver, BIOS, firmware updates into Legion Space.
DPI settings for trackpad & FPS mode, FPS limiter with various settings.
Adjustable fan curves, option to turn off light on power button, adjust automatic sleep timing for controllers, and LT/RT Deadzone/Activation Point adjustments.
Planned Updates for Calendar Q1 2024:
Key Customization/Mapping, use of Left/Right triggers for mouse clicks.
Option to "hide" games in Space, Desktop Mode, and Taskbar/System Tray Minimization of Space.
Additional customization options for space.
BIOS:
V28 Beta BIOS released, with an official release pending testing completion.
Future versions may include additional functionality like Auto UMA Buffer.
Graphics Drivers:
11/7 Test Drivers released, with the next official release planned for mid-December.
The update may include integer scaling.
Parts & Service:
10% off on Accidental Damage Protection.
Service parts available for sale through the support site.
Efforts to provide replacement parts to customers in need.
Miscellaneous/Known Issues & Requests:
Addressing fan/coil whine, fullscreen issues, upside-down rendering in some games, external monitor rotation issues, gyro enhancements, USB-C connectivity, battery charge limits, and left speaker interference.
