Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth is an incredible game for the Rog Ally, not only does it run great on the Ally but this is one of the best games in the series. In this article i want to break down my experience with the game on the Rog Ally and give you the best settings that we've found so far of the game running on the ROG Ally.
To begin with, I set my graphical settings to medium across the board, turning on FSR 2 at the 'quality' setting. Initially, I played at 1080p, with the device plugged in at 30 Watts. Interestingly, even at a lower wattage of 15 Watts, the game nearly reaches 30 FPS. This performance is quite remarkable, showcasing the game's smooth playability on the ROG Ally.
Now, let's delve into the GPU performance. At 1080p, you'll notice a significant GPU usage, but when switching to 900p, there's a noticeable decrease. This adjustment offers a sweet spot between performance and power efficiency.
Regarding the game itself, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth offers an incredible story. If you're new to the Yakuza or Like a Dragon series, this game is a fantastic entry point. The story is immersive, and the gameplay experience on the ROG Ally is nothing short of stellar.
For those concerned about battery life, I found that running the game at 15 Watts and 900p provides a great balance. This setting maintains a decent frame rate in the mid-40s, which is impressive for medium settings.
My recommended graphical settings for an optimal experience are 900p with medium presets. With FSR 2 set to quality, playing at 25 Watts (or plugged in at 30 Watts) yields a consistent 60 FPS. At these settings, the GPU usage drops significantly compared to 1080p, reducing strain on the device while maintaining fluid gameplay.
Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth runs beautifully on the ROG Ally. The game itself is a must-play, with its engaging story and stunning visuals. If you're curious about the series or looking for an engaging gaming experience, this title is highly recommended. The ROG Ally handles it exceptionally, providing a great way to dive into the series.
