Kicking off the New Year with some impressive news for the ROG Ally.
First up, AMD's release of the new Fluid Motion Frames, while it's not officially released by Asus themselves, it's available for download here but as it's not the official driver, use at your own risk. This driver promises to enhance gaming experiences by increasing FPS similar to the capabilities seen in FSR 3.
Next, let's talk about BIOS 336 for the ROG Ally. This BIOS is now available for download, and while we haven't personally tested it yet, we're excited to explore its features and compare it with the previous BIOS 335. You can download Bios 336 here, as it's not available through Armory Crate just yet
Lastly, there's great news for those eyeing the ROG Ally with the Z1 processor. It's on sale again! Remember the Black Friday deal where it was $200 off? It's back, this time at a $400 discount.
We still recommend getting the Z1 Extreme processor for serious gamers but, the Z1 at this price point could be an attractive option for those on a budget. You might even snag an open box deal for $300. You can find the link to that here
