Spectre Divide Playtest Gameplay and ROG Ally Z1 Extreme Performance

I recently had the chance to play test Spectre Divide, and it's definitely starting to gain some attention. It seems to be in development with the streamer Shroud, and it's essentially a team combat game with a unique twist.

In this game, you have a backup buddy or a "Spectre" that you can deploy around the field to hide for you, and you can switch between your main player and the Spectre whenever you feel like it. The game even warns you if people are around your Spectre, giving you the option to switch to it or protect it.

During my play test, I found it difficult to use the Steam input mapping with the RoG Ally Z1 stream, as the joysticks are soft and challenging to use for FPS. Instead, I used the Proto Arc foldable keyboard and mouse combo, which improved my gameplay experience. I also used a lap tray to play conveniently when I wasn't recording.

In terms of settings, I was able to run the game at 1600 by 900, 120 max frame rate with VSync on, textures on medium, effects on high, and post-processing on medium, achieving between 60 and 70 frames per second for the most part. You also have the ability to choose a sponsor, which impacts the special abilities you get, and there's a buy phase where you can place your Spectre around the map before the attack and defend on each side.

The game consists of a best of 10 rounds with five attack and five defense rounds, and I found it overall played quite well. However, there were occasional frame rate dips, and AMD FidelityFX was not working properly for me on the RoG Ally.
