The Last Us of Patch 1.05 makes it playable on Steam Deck

While the official status for the Last of Us on the Steam Deck is still unsupported, we believe the latest 1.05 patch might get that status updated to officially playable.

While there is still more work to do, it's definitely playable now in our book.

However, the game does still run very got, with a power draw of 28-29w even capped at 30 FPS.

To minimize stutter and frame drops below 30, we recommend the low graphics preset, motion blur, and v-sync off with a frame cap in-game at 40 FPS.

This gave us the best experience so far, one of the major improvements we saw was on the level of graphics between the last patch (1.04) and this one (1.05)

There are more performance improvements to come according to the naughty dog tweets and patch notes updates, so we will continue to monitor the updates and report any improvements.

If you want to see the full list of fixes (there is a lot) in the 1.05 patch notes, you can do so here
