These Are Valve's Top 12 Most Played Steam Deck Games Of 2023

Welcome to our latest exploration of the top games on Steam Deck for 2023, directly informed by data from Valve. In this journey, we'll delve into a mix of titles that have captivated players this year, each offering unique experiences on the Steam Deck.

First up is "Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon." This title has been a personal favorite of mine, impressing with its gameplay on the Steam Deck. It's a bit disappointing that it didn't feature in any sales, but its quality speaks for itself, and it's definitely worth checking out.

Then there's "Baldur's Gate 3," a standout RPG and my top pick for the year. It also clinched the Game of the Year award. The depth of its story and the impact of player decisions are remarkable. For RPG enthusiasts, this is a must-play.

"Cyberpunk 2077" also makes the list, running impressively on the Steam Deck. Its DLC is a highlight, revitalizing interest in the game. The performance improvements make it a prime time to revisit Night City.

A surprise entry is "Dave the Diver." While I haven't played it personally, its popularity on the Deck is noteworthy, with strong recommendations from the community.

The 2022 Game of the Year, "Elden Ring," is another exceptional title. Its performance on the Steam Deck has improved significantly, making now an ideal time to dive into its challenging world.

A long-standing favorite, "GTA 5," continues to shine. Its optimized performance on the Steam Deck showcases Rockstar's prowess in creating enduring open-world experiences.

"Half-Life" also deserves a mention. Despite its age, it remains a fun and engaging experience, especially on Valve's hardware.

"Hogwarts Legacy" is a delightful treat for Harry Potter fans. It's a well-crafted RPG that's currently on sale – a perfect pick for fans of the genre and the magical universe.

The "Resident Evil 4" remake by Capcom has reinvigorated the classic, performing smoothly on the Steam Deck. It's a fantastic revisit for fans of the series.

"Starfield," while a bit of a letdown in terms of anticipation and performance, is still a noteworthy inclusion, indicating its popularity among Steam Deck users.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" remains a benchmark in RPGs. Its recent graphical update has enhanced its appeal, ensuring it remains a top choice for gamers.

Lastly, "Vampire Survivors" has been a dark horse, excelling as a pick-up-and-play game that's both addictive and well-suited for the Steam Deck.
