1.) God Of War
God of War is a verified game on the steam deck. To get the best performance on with this game on deck I had to set most of the settings as original which is equivalent to medium settings. I also had to lock the FPS at 40. With these settings, I was able to complete this game on the Steam deck and had a good experience playing this one on the Deck.
2.) Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrated
Final Fantasy 7 Remake integrated is another game that’s verified on Steam Deck. There are not a lot of graphical settings options when it comes to this game on deck. You have high and low with textures and shadow, and you get also get to set the framerate here. To get the best performance on deck I had to set the in-game cap at 60 fps, and then lock my steam deck cap at 40 fps. I also had both graphic settings on high as well.
3.) Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil Village is a playable game on the Steam Deck. You don’t need a special proton to run this game. For graphical settings, I have the framerate at 60 fps and FRS1.0 on quality. I have the texture Quality on high and most of the effects turned on. This game does a great job of keeping 60 fps through the majority of my gameplay. If you want a consistent gaming experience this is one that you can lock at 40 fps with high texture and be fine.
4.) Marvel’s Spiderman Remastered
Marvel's Spiderman Remastered is another verified game on Steam Deck. For my graphical settings, I have this one set on FSR 2.1 with quality and a medium preset. I turned the Shadow quality low for this one, and most of the effects are turned on. This game hovers over 30 fps most of the time, for a better gameplay experience locking this game at 30 fps will give you a stable experience.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a playable game on the Steam Deck. For this one, I have vsync turned on. I have the Preset set on ultra, you have to becare with which ultra preset that you choose here, I have mine to where the lighting quality is on medium. I was able to use the Steam deck to lock it at 40 fps, and these settings did a good job maintaining 40 fps throughout my gameplay experience. This game does have a launcher, but it’s not too intrusive, once you get in the game you should be good to go. Haven’t tried the online portion of this game, but last I heard trying to run this game online had issues.
6.) Doom Eternal
Doom Eternal is a verified game on the Steam Deck. Doom Eternal is probably one of the best-optimized games I’ve seen yet on deck. You don't need any special proton to run this game. For my graphical settings, I have most of my settings set to high and ultra. This game easily maintains 60 fps with all the chaos that goes on in this game.
7.) Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is another verified game on the Steam Deck, this game does have a launcher when starting the game, but it’s not intrusive you can just skip it. You don’t need to run a special proton to get this one working. I have motion blur off and most of my graphical settings are set to medium. I also used the in-game FPS lock, and I locked this one at 40 FPS, With this Cyberpunk runs well on the deck. When you’re inclosed it does a good job maintaining 40fps. When you’re out in night city it does dip below 40 fps, but it gets right back up to 40 fps.
8.) The Callisto Protocol
The Callisto Protocol is a playable game on the deck. You don't need a special Proton to run this game. For my settings, I had FRS 2 set on balance, and then the rest of the graphical settings set on medium. With I had to hard lock the deck at 30 fps.
9.) The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3 is a verified game for the Steam Deck. This is a game that recently got a next-gen patch, which complicates things when it comes to performance but improves a lot to make the game as a whole a better experience. With the next-gen update, I ran this game with direct x 12. I had FSR 2 turned on with quality and I had a medium preset. This game also had a launcher when you start the game but it’s not too intrusive. The next-gen update beefs up this game and gives you another reason to jump back into the witcher universe.
10.) Elden Ring
Elden Ring This is a verified game on the Steam deck. You don’t need a special proton to launch this one. For my graphical settings, I had the preset set to medium. I also locked my Steam Deck fps to 30 fps. With this, I was able to get a consistent 30 fps with most of the play-through. Just a disclaimer for some reason out of all the games that are on this list, The Elden Ring seems to be the game that drains my battery the most keep that into consideration.
